The short version. Last Call is a live dating game show you play on camera with other people. You have to be 18. Be decent on camera and in chat. The coins are pretend. We are a small pilot, things will break, and we can remove anyone who makes this unpleasant. If any of that is a dealbreaker, please do not sign up.
These terms are an agreement between you and Scholls Development LLC, an Oregon limited liability company ("we", "us"). Using Last Call means you accept them.
Last Call is an adults-only service. You have to be at least 18 years old to make an account, appear on camera, or use any part of the app. When you sign up you are telling us you are 18+, and we take that at face value. If we have reason to believe an account belongs to a minor, we will remove it. If you think a minor is using Last Call, report them in the app or email us and we will act on it.
Last Call is an early, invite-only test running with a small group of people. That has consequences we would rather say out loud than bury:
You need an invite to join, and one account per person. Keep your password to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Give us an email address you actually check, since that is how password resets and any account notices reach you. Do not impersonate someone else or use a display name designed to mislead people about who you are.
Everything you put in a room - your camera, your microphone, your chat messages, your display name, the photo taken at the end of a show - is content you are responsible for. The rules are short:
You keep ownership of what you create. You give us permission to transmit and display it to the other people in your room, and to store the small amount of it we keep (chat, hearts, gifts, and the end-of-show photo) so the room works. That is the whole license - we are not going to put you in an ad.
Every room has a report button. Reporting someone also blocks them for you, immediately. When you report, we keep a record of who reported whom, in which room, and why - including an email snapshot, so the record still means something if the account is later deleted.
We moderate at our discretion. We can hide or delete content, end a live show, suspend an account, or ban someone from the pilot entirely - with or without warning, and without owing anyone an explanation. We are a handful of people, not a 24/7 trust-and-safety operation: we will not see everything, we will not always be fast, and we may get calls wrong. If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services, not us.
The coins (the little sparkles you spend on roses, crowns, and rings) are a scorekeeping device. They are not currency. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, cashed out, transferred, or refunded, and we can change balances, prices, or the whole economy at any time - including setting everything back to zero. Nothing in Last Call is a prize, a wager, or a game of chance for money.
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app: open the settings menu in the lobby and choose Delete my account. It asks twice, and then it is gone - your profile, your rooms, and your messages go with it. It is not reversible and we cannot restore it.
One thing survives on purpose: if you were reported, the moderation record stays, including the email snapshot attached to it. That is so a banned account cannot be laundered by deleting and re-registering. You can also just stop using the app, or email us and we will delete the account for you.
Last Call is offered as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied - including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise the app will work, stay online, be secure, be free of bugs, or that anything you put into it will survive.
We also do not vet the people you meet here. We do not run background checks. Anyone can say anything about themselves on camera. Use the same judgment you would use meeting a stranger anywhere else, and be careful about what you share and who you meet in person.
To the fullest extent Oregon law allows, Scholls Development LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost credits, arising out of your use of Last Call. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the greater of the amount you actually paid us (during the pilot, that is nothing) or fifty US dollars. Some states do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows.
You agree to cover us for claims that come out of your own conduct on the service or your breach of these terms.
You can stop using Last Call whenever you like, and delete your account from inside the app. We can suspend or end your access at any time, for any reason, including ending the pilot for everybody. Sections that should outlive the account - moderation records, the as-is disclaimer, the liability limits, and the law and venue below - survive termination.
We will update this page when the app changes, and we will move the date at the top. If a change is significant we will say so in the app. Continuing to use Last Call after an update means you accept the new version. If you do not, delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Oregon, and you and we both agree to that venue. Nothing here takes away a right you have under a consumer-protection law that cannot be waived. If a court decides some part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
